Bell, Temple Barristers & Solicitors was founded in 1945, and is one of the leading litigation law firms in Canada. The firm specializes in providing litigation services to corporations, associations, institutions, insurers and their policyholders.

The Need

Bell, Temple’s previous phone system had been in place for 12 years and was becoming obsolete both in terms of functionality and availability of replacement parts.

The firm was looking to replace their dated phone system with a new hosted VoIP solution that would allow them to:

  1. Eliminate aging hardware.
  2. Realize a new and much needed level of mobility.
  3. Lower the costs associated with their telephone system.

The Solution

Epik Networks put into place a TOTAL VOICE solution for approximately 100 users. Implementation allowed for features that are customizable per user and included an upgraded IP Phone.

The solution also eliminated Bell, Temple’s ownership of aging hardware. With Epik looking after the installation and regular upgrading of equipment and system technology, Bell, Temple eliminated the need for substantial associated resources and costs.

The Result

The Epik solution saved Bell, Temple $25,000 – $30,000 over the course of 3 years while providing the firm with an up to date hosted VoIP system that has helped them to realize greater efficiencies.

Lawyers are now able to log into the system, see incoming calls, review voicemail messages and set up conference calls: All online and seamlessly both in office and remotely.

This has allowed work to take place from all across the globe without any disruption to client service and with overall improvements to the firm’s productivity level.
